About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential global climate advocacy organization in their search for a Global Lead, Partnerships and Networks. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and engaging a worldwide network of activists, supporters, and partner organizations to advance major environmental campaigns across multiple continents.
You'll lead a distributed team, develop network strategy across regions, and ensure that grassroots organizing efforts translate directly into campaign victories and movement power. This role requires someone who can navigate complex stakeholder relationships, drive organizational change, and build coalitions across diverse cultural and political contexts.
Location: Remote, available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Fiji, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Netherlands, Philippines, South Africa, United Kingdom, or United States. Preference given to candidates in African, Asian, and Latin American time zones.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute network strategy for partners, allies, and local volunteer groups tailored to regional contexts and campaign priorities
- Manage a team of Regional Network Coordinators, setting performance standards and making strategic decisions about partnerships and leadership development
- Build and maintain strategic relationships across the climate movement, from frontline and Indigenous partners to institutional stakeholders
- Ensure systems track and evaluate network health, volunteer engagement, and leadership development outcomes
- Lead work with existing and new affiliate organizations, applying strategic thinking and high-level relationship management
- Oversee cross-country network mobilization projects with clear accountability and disciplined execution
- Ensure justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles are embedded throughout network organizing and training
- Manage team budget and contribute to fundraising and donor engagement
- Facilitate knowledge sharing of tactics, lessons, and political insights across regions and with global teams
- Represent the organization in key internal and external forums as needed
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years senior-level experience in organizing or movement-building, ideally in climate or environmental sectors
- Minimum 3 years directly managing people, with substantial experience coaching remote staff from diverse backgrounds
- Substantial lived and work experience in the Global South/majority world
- Proven track record building and scaling volunteer-led or grassroots networks in the majority world
- Deep knowledge of the global climate movement and ability to navigate sensitive relationships where perspectives may diverge
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement organizing strategies that deliver measurable impact
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to manage conflict and drive change through persuasion and accountability
- Experience cultivating partnerships with donors, external partners, media, and other stakeholders
- Knowledge applying justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles in campaign contexts
- Basic understanding of digital organizing and using data to inform strategy
- Excellent project management, facilitation, communication, and intercultural skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments
- Fluency in English; additional languages strongly preferred
- Legal authorization to work in your country of residence (visa sponsorship not available)
