About the Role

As a Nursing Instructor, you'll develop and deliver comprehensive curriculum in emergency and critical care nursing, guiding students through rigorous classroom and clinical experiences. You'll mentor future nurses through complex scenarios in fast-paced, high-stakes healthcare settings, fostering the clinical judgment and technical competence required to care for acutely ill and critically injured patients. Your leadership shapes the next generation of emergency and critical care professionals.

Core Duties

• Design and teach evidence-based curriculum for emergency and critical care nursing courses
• Facilitate classroom instruction, seminars, and laboratory sessions on acute and critical illness management
• Supervise and evaluate students during clinical rotations in emergency departments and critical care units
• Mentor students in advanced assessment, clinical decision-making, and intervention skills for high-acuity patients
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback aligned with program outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency and critical care nursing standards and best practices
• Collaborate with clinical partners and healthcare organizations to create meaningful learning experiences

Who We're Looking For

• Active RN licensure in New Jersey or ability to obtain licensure
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree
• Master's degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or teaching certification
• Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience in emergency or critical care
• Teaching experience or demonstrated capability in nursing education
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Expertise in emergency and critical care nursing practices and standards
