Manager of Accounting and Reimbursement

Virtua is seeking an experienced Manager of Accounting and Reimbursement to join our team at our Lippincott location (406 Lippincott Drive). This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead critical financial and reimbursement operations within a dynamic healthcare organization.

The Opportunity

As Manager of Accounting and Reimbursement, you'll take ownership of our accounting and reimbursement functions, overseeing processes that ensure accurate financial management and timely claim processing. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in our financial operations, making a direct impact on the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct and manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Oversee medical reimbursement processes, including claim submission, tracking, and resolution
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of accounting and reimbursement staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets and cost control initiatives
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting and reimbursement workflows

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in reimbursement management
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop team members
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
