MS Dynamics Senior Functional Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the D2C consumer goods sector who is seeking a Senior MS Dynamics Functional Manager to join their Technology team in Frankfurt. This is an opportunity to shape and scale Finance and Supply Chain systems within a rapidly growing international organization.

Our client operates across multiple European markets and is at a critical phase of systemization and process maturity. You'll work hands-on across the ERP landscape, translating business needs into robust, maintainable solutions that support continued expansion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements across Finance and Supply Chain domains, including Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Analyze business processes and contribute to the design of scalable, maintainable ERP solutions aligned with business goals
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and configuration inputs
• Ensure functional deliverables meet quality standards and align with ERP configuration best practices
• Produce comprehensive documentation of future-state business processes to support solution design, stakeholder alignment, and long-term maintainability
• Perform functional testing of developed features and support go-live readiness activities, including user training, documentation, and post-deployment validation
• Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and system usage

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience in ERP systems with strong functional expertise in one or more of the following: Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), or Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (either Business Central or Finance & Operations) – this is mandatory
• Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ERP configurations and process improvements
• Skilled in documenting business processes and functional designs in a clear, structured, and maintainable format
• Experience in functional testing, including test case creation and validation of system behavior
• Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments and actively participating in ceremonies such as planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor messaging according to the audience and work effectively across cross-functional business and technical teams
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a commitment to delivering consistent, high-standard functional outputs
• Professional fluency in English
