Center Independent School District is seeking a dedicated full-time Middle School Girls Teacher/Coach to inspire and develop students both in the classroom and on the field at Center Middle School in the US.
About the Role
This dual teaching and coaching position blends academic instruction with athletic mentorship. As a Middle School Girls Teacher/Coach, you will guide young learners through a core academic subject while leading girls' athletics programs. The role is compensated on the district Teacher Pay Scale with additional coaching stipend(s), and it is based on-site at Center Middle School.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging learning activities in your assigned core academic subject area.
- Support each student's intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
- Lead, organize, and supervise middle school girls' athletic activities and practices.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging environment in both classroom and athletic settings.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.
Qualifications
- Eligibility for appropriate Texas teaching certification for the assigned subject area.
- Coaching credentials or demonstrated experience leading youth or school athletics.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to the academic and athletic success of middle school students.
