Role Overview

As a Medical Writer in our Scientific Communications department, you'll be responsible for translating complex scientific data into clear, compelling, and compliant written materials. You'll work across diverse therapeutic areas, creating documents that meet regulatory standards and resonate with clinical and non-clinical audiences. Your work will support key business objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and clarity in scientific communication.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and write scientific and medical content including clinical summaries, educational materials, and regulatory documentation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, clinical teams, and stakeholders to gather information and refine content
  • Research clinical evidence and scientific literature to support writing projects
  • Ensure all communications comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company standards
  • Review and edit scientific materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards
  • Contribute to the development of communication strategies that support product launches and clinical initiatives

Qualifications

  • Degree in a life sciences, healthcare, or related scientific discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Proven experience in medical writing or scientific communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Ability to synthesise complex scientific information into accessible content
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and MS Office applications
