Role Overview
As a Medical Writer in our Scientific Communications team, you will develop and refine written materials that translate complex scientific and clinical concepts for diverse audiences. Your work will span regulatory documentation, clinical publications, educational content, and strategic communications that support product development, market access, and medical education. You'll be the bridge between our scientific strategy and clear, compelling communication that meets both regulatory standards and audience expectations.
Your Responsibilities
- Author and edit medical and scientific documents, including regulatory submissions, clinical study reports, and journal manuscripts
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize clinical evidence to inform accurate, evidence-based messaging
- Collaborate with physicians, researchers, regulatory specialists, and marketing teams to clarify scientific objectives and ensure consistency
- Ensure all materials comply with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and quality requirements
- Develop content calendars and communication strategies for scientific audiences
- Review, revise, and enhance documentation for clarity, accuracy, and impact
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, biology, pharmacology, or related scientific discipline
- 2+ years of professional medical writing or scientific communications experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing for regulatory, clinical, or scientific publications
- Strong command of medical and scientific terminology with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams in regulated environments
- Excellent research, organization, and project management capabilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting
