Medical Monitor (US Board-Certified Psychiatrist)

PSI CRO is seeking a Medical Monitor (US Board-Certified Psychiatrist) for a full-time remote position. This is an opportunity to provide essential medical oversight and clinical expertise in a fast-paced contract research environment.

About This Position

As a Medical Monitor with PSI CRO, you'll deliver independent medical judgment and oversight to clinical research programs. Your board certification in psychiatry brings the specialized clinical knowledge needed to ensure participant safety, regulatory compliance, and scientific integrity throughout research studies. You'll work alongside study teams and sponsors to identify risks early and maintain the highest standards of medical care in psychiatric research.

Core Duties

• Provide ongoing medical oversight of psychiatric clinical trials from initiation through completion
• Review and evaluate adverse events and serious adverse events for relatedness, severity, and reporting requirements
• Assess protocol compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and good clinical practice standards
• Review informed consent forms and study documentation from a medical perspective
• Evaluate data quality, eligibility criteria compliance, and participant safety throughout trials
• Communicate findings and recommendations to study sites, sponsors, and research teams
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of medical monitoring activities

Qualifications

• MD or DO with current, active US board certification in psychiatry
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in the United States
• Experience with clinical trial oversight, medical monitoring, or clinical research is preferred
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, ICH-GCP guidelines, and safety reporting
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple studies remotely
