Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization experiencing rapid growth in the UK pharmaceutical sector. We're seeking a Marshal to join their operations team in Blackburn, Lancashire. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting a fast-paced dispensary environment where precision and urgency directly impact patient care.

As a Marshal, you'll own your area of the pharmacy floor, keeping packing stations stocked, dispensers supported, and operations flowing without interruption. You'll anticipate needs, respond quickly to requests, and tackle bottlenecks before they impact delivery timelines. Every action you take helps ensure patients receive their medications safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Patrol your assigned area and respond to packing station requests within 3 minutes, replenishing medicines and consumables before supplies run out
• Supply only one medication strength and one matching stack of orders per packing table at a time, verifying accuracy before replenishing
• Follow cold-chain procedures and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements, returning temperature-controlled medicines to proper storage immediately when not in active use
• Use designated holding areas for all medicines, never leaving stock unattended in walkways or packing areas
• Immediately quarantine damaged or suspect stock for shift leadership review
• Maintain clear, tidy stations with unobstructed exits; remove hazards and report safety concerns promptly
• Operate equipment only within your training and authorization limits
• Support fellow Marshals, cover neighbouring areas during breaks, and flag stock discrepancies or rotation errors

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

• Warehouse operations experience with understanding of stock control, Health & Safety, and GDP requirements
• Strong attention to detail—you check medication strengths, order matches, and storage conditions carefully
• Ownership mentality: you stay organized, anticipate needs, and manage your area independently as priorities shift
• Clear communication skills and ability to flag issues early
• Physical capability for continuous on-foot activity and routine manual handling
• Reliable, consistent effort and teamwork across every shift

Nice to Have:

• Experience in regulated warehousing, logistics, pharmacy, or healthcare environments
• Cold-chain handling knowledge for temperature-controlled medicines
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for stock tracking
• Forklift, pump truck, or baler certifications (training provided if needed)

Pay

This role offers £13 per hour during the training period, increasing to £15 per hour (including equity component) once you complete required training and achieve sign-off for the qualified role.
