About This Role
We are representing a confidential client in the home services technology sector for a temporary Senior Salesforce Developer position based in London (hybrid). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly skilled team delivering critical integrations between Salesforce and a modern technical platform.
You'll join a team of seven Salesforce specialists and a Product Manager, working on high-priority initiatives that support sales and customer care operations. The team deploys to production approximately three times per day, using modern development practices including AI-assisted development, Visual Studio Code, Git, and SFDX CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce functionality integrating with the client's unified platform architecture
- Partner with the team to deliver high-priority initiatives supporting sales and care organizations
- Contribute to and uphold development quality standards and Salesforce best practices
- Collaborate with administrators to maintain package architecture and develop custom components where declarative tools aren't suitable
- Participate actively in product and technical discussions, bringing data-driven insights
- Support senior team members in making and implementing critical technical decisions
- Work within an unlocked packages strategy across multiple packages, following established design pattern frameworks
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 8+ years of commercial experience developing in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex, including automated testing
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce application architecture and software design principles
- Proficiency with Visual Studio Code (or similar IDE), Git, and AI tooling in development workflows
- Experience with Salesforce code deployments using CI/CD tools
- Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications
- Collaborative communication style with experience in agile and lean environments on cross-functional teams
- Ability to work hybrid in London
Preferred:
- Additional Salesforce core platform certifications (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
- System Architect or Certified Technical Architect certification
- Trailhead badges or superbadges (Apex Specialist, Lightning Web Components Specialist)
- Familiarity with automated testing philosophies: TDD, Apex tests, Jest tests

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: £85,000 - £105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a temporary position with hybrid working arrangements in London, including home office set-up allowance and flexible work policies.
