Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential B2B SaaS client in Berlin seeking a Marketing Manager to lead their answer engine optimization (AEO) and content strategy. This is a hands-on strategic role where you'll shape how the company gets discovered by AI systems and large language models.

You'll work directly with leadership to execute a content strategy focused on becoming the authoritative answer when AI systems respond to queries about specialized software solutions. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing content writers while building benchmark reports and optimizing technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

AEO Foundation and Technical Health:

• Conduct extensive AEO and content audits including technical site infrastructure, loading times, crawlability, and indexation
• Review all content for cannibalization and duplicate content, systematically eliminating redundancies
• Define high-intent search phrases where the company needs to own the AI-recommended answer
• Measure and report on LLM visibility using tools like Peec.ai, tracking appearances in ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity

Content Strategy and Topic Development:

• Enrich existing use case pages to become the most authoritative answers for target queries
• Prepare competitor comparison pages and alternative content positioning
• Audit and optimize topic guides and listicles for answer engine visibility
• Create detailed content briefs for writers, specifying structure, depth, and semantic patterns for AI citation

Benchmark Reports and Thought Leadership:

• Design and execute benchmark reports that establish category leadership
• Research and aggregate anonymized data for publication
• Create video content for high-value questions and use cases

PPC Management:

• Monitor performance across Google, Microsoft Ads, and emerging channels like ChatGPT Ads
• Work with or replace external PPC support, optimizing campaigns and audience targeting

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 1-2 years managing people
• Deep hands-on expertise in AEO and AI-powered search optimization—you've run content strategies specifically for LLMs and understand how to structure content for AI citation
• Strong understanding of how answer engines evaluate and cite sources
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Keyword.com, and Peec.ai
• Analytical mindset with systematic approach to auditing, measuring, and prioritizing
• Experience managing content operations and briefing writers on answer engine strategy
• University degree or equivalent demonstrated expertise

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience managing writers or editorial teams
• Background building benchmark reports or original research content
• Familiarity with WordPress as headless CMS or similar systems
• B2B SaaS marketing experience, especially in vertical software
• PPC management and optimization experience
