LPN – Part Time Evenings – LTC

About the Role

Sanford Health is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct patient care during evening shift hours. This part-time opportunity allows you to make a real difference in residents' lives while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. Evening shifts typically run 8 hours and are designed to support continuity of care in our long-term care facilities.

What You'll Do

• Deliver hands-on nursing care to patients in long-term care settings under the supervision of registered nurses
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, comfortable care environment
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document clinical observations and patient interactions accurately and timely
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance standards
• Respond compassionately to patient and family needs during evening and night hours

What We're Looking For

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Active experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Physical capability to assist patients and perform job duties safely
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards
• Flexibility and reliability during evening shift assignments
