About the Role
As a Patient Access Representative, you'll manage the front-desk experience for our orthopedic and sports medicine patients. Working day shifts part-time, you'll ensure smooth check-ins, accurate patient information collection, and efficient scheduling. This role is critical in setting the tone for an exceptional patient experience while maintaining accurate medical records and insurance documentation.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients arriving for orthopedic and sports medicine appointments with professionalism and warmth
- Verify insurance coverage and collect required information to ensure accurate billing
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments, managing the clinic calendar efficiently
- Process patient paperwork, maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance
- Answer patient inquiries professionally, directing complex questions to clinical staff as needed
- Maintain organized records and communicate appointment updates to patients
