Construction Project Manager – Full Time

This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead construction and facility improvement projects across one of America's largest rural healthcare systems, working 40 hours per week on day shifts.

About the Role

As Construction Project Manager for Sanford Health, you'll oversee complex construction and renovation projects that directly support patient care facilities and operations. This role combines strategic planning, vendor coordination, regulatory compliance, and on-site management to deliver projects on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety codes and building standards
• Communicate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and healthcare stakeholders
• Track expenditures, process change orders, and maintain detailed project documentation
• Identify and resolve construction challenges and schedule conflicts in real time
• Ensure projects meet Sanford Health's quality standards and operational requirements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably in healthcare or similar complex environments
• Strong knowledge of construction management practices, building codes, and regulatory standards
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional construction management certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience coordinating with medical and clinical teams a plus
