Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization based in London. They are seeking experienced legal professionals to contribute specialized domain expertise to cutting-edge AI development projects focused on governance and compliance workflows.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how AI systems understand and execute professional legal work, working directly with research teams on frontier model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic evaluation scenarios that test AI systems on mid-workflow legal tasks such as board updates in progress, transaction documentation requiring revisions, and compliance materials transitioning between formats
• Create detailed problem sets that reflect authentic professional workflows you have executed in your career
• Collaborate with engineering and research specialists to implement and assess AI performance on real-world legal deliverables
• Define precise quality criteria and evaluation standards that enable objective assessment of AI output

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in in-house legal, company secretarial, or compliance functions
• Deep practical expertise creating board legal updates, transaction packs, and compliance presentations
• Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and document preparation for senior stakeholders
• Ability to articulate and codify quality standards with precision
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to learn AI and data concepts relevant to the work

Location and Working Arrangements

This position is based in London with flexibility for remote work or in-office presence in the Liverpool Street area.

Pay
