About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in London that is building sophisticated clinical decision-support systems. They need a Lead Technical Product Manager to drive their platform toward AI-enabled, predictive decisioning with a clear regulatory pathway as a medical device.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines deep technical understanding with clinical product judgment and proven experience deploying machine learning in production. You'll move comfortably between high-level strategy and engineering-grade details, leveraging AI tools to achieve what would traditionally require a larger team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product direction and roadmap for the clinical decision platform, from long-term strategy to granular implementation details
  • Decide which features create the most scalable value, balancing immediate execution with strategic investments
  • Establish and systematically track success metrics for the platform
  • Set the direction for AI and machine learning integration, embedding predictive and supervised learning systems into production
  • Build self-learning systems that continuously improve on historical recommendations while maintaining safety and explainability
  • Engage in technical architecture discussions as a credible equal with engineering teams, making sharp trade-offs between speed and long-term scalability
  • Shape the product side of the platform's regulatory direction, including Software/AI as a Medical Device (SaMD) considerations
  • Work with sensitive patient data, partnering with clinical and quality teams to ensure safety and patient trust shape the roadmap
  • Communicate what the platform enables to engineering, clinical, design, and product teams

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven track record as a Senior or Principal Technical PM on complex platform, infrastructure, or systems products
  • Hands-on experience deploying machine learning in production, specifically supervised learning or predictive systems
  • Experience deploying or regulating software/AI as a medical device (SaMD), or working within closely comparable regulated frameworks
  • Direct experience with rules engines, knowledge graphs, or AI-driven decisioning systems
  • Experience in clinical, healthcare, or adjacent domains handling sensitive, highly detailed user data
  • Track record operating as a high-velocity individual contributor who leverages AI tools effectively

Bonus:

  • Experience scaling platform products across multiple international regulatory frameworks
  • Prior experience as a data scientist or software engineer before transitioning to technical product management
  • Experience with complex biological or personalized health data
