What This Role Involves
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems that power our innovative products. Your work will focus on greenfield development and the improvement of existing systems, including building REST APIs, engineering microservices, and evolving critical business systems such as card payments, treasury management, transactions booking, and crypto liquidity.
Core Duties
- Design and develop backend systems using Java 25 on the backend with Postgres database and Spring Boot for quick and quality delivery.
- Implement clean code principles, focusing on maintainability and fast turnaround through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes to ensure smooth operations and rapid feature releases.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in backend development, with fluency in Java.
- Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other Engineering/Science disciplines.
- Ambitious and results-driven personality with excellent communication skills, including English fluency both verbally and in writing.
