Operations analyst – Payments

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an Operations Analyst - Payments to join their Edinburgh office. This hybrid role requires two days per week on-site and offers the chance to work within collaborative, cross-functional teams focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes in the investment platform space.

As an Operations Analyst, you'll support day-to-day operations across multiple product types, working closely with engineering, product, and operations colleagues during a period of accelerated growth. You'll take ownership of cash processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to process improvements that enhance scalability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end investigation and resolution of cash process issues, ensuring regulatory and customer SLAs are met
• Support your Operations delivery lead with regular business reporting and accurate performance metrics
• Resolve complex queries promptly across the organization, becoming a trusted operational partner
• Review operational workflows and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with Customer, Product, and Engineering teams to develop scalable ways of working
• Support training initiatives for new team members and share operational knowledge
• Maintain high service standards across Operations during periods of growth
• Provide cross-functional support to other areas of Operations as required

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar operations analyst role within the investment management industry
• Strong domain knowledge of investment platforms, particularly CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook) environment
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues while working to strict deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
