Lead Product Manager, B2B Trade Platform

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential industrial technology client in Berlin. They're scaling a B2B trade platform that uses AI to automate end-to-end supply chain operations across European markets. This is a hands-on Lead Product Manager role reporting directly to senior leadership, where you'll own a P&L-relevant product area from discovery through shipped outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own a core product area end-to-end (logistics automation, pricing systems, or embedded finance solutions) with direct accountability for business metrics
• Drive product discovery through weekly direct engagement with real users: traders, logistics operators, and commercial buyers
• Set product direction and prioritization for your engineering squad, making clear trade-off decisions on what to build and what not to build
• Ship concrete outcomes measured by automation rates, retention metrics, and margin impact rather than feature counts
• Lead post-launch iteration cycles driven by usage data and commercial performance
• Pull and analyze your own data to define success metrics and change course based on what the numbers tell you
• Run fast MVP cycles with clear build-measure-iterate-or-kill decision frameworks

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in product management with at least 2 years at a B2B scale-up, owning a product area through significant growth phases
• Proven track record shipping products in operations-heavy domains such as logistics, marketplaces, supply chain, or fintech
• Strong data fluency: comfortable pulling your own analytics, defining metrics, and making data-informed decisions
• Demonstrated experience with rapid MVP cycles where you can walk through specific decisions to build, iterate, or kill features
• Experience shipping AI-powered features to production is a strong advantage
• Self-starter who takes ownership of problems and drives them to resolution
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a continuous improvement culture
• Ability to dive into new domains quickly and develop deep expertise
• Business-oriented mindset with relentless execution focus
• Fluent English required; German is a plus

Note: This is not a people-management role on day one. You'll lead through product delivery, with potential to build a team as the organization scales. This role requires hands-on product work rather than strategy presentations.
