Lead Graphic Designer – Consumer Goods Brand

About This Opportunity

We are representing a growing natural hair care brand based in the United States that is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to join their team on a full-time, fully remote basis.

This is a hands-on creative role where you'll personally execute the majority of the brand's visual design work while providing creative direction and coordinating with external partners. You'll work directly with the business owner and collaborate with developers, printers, and freelancers to deliver high-quality, brand-consistent creative assets across digital, print, and experiential channels.

Location: Ghana (fully remote)
Schedule: U.S. Eastern business hours
Employment Type: Full-time independent contractor

Responsibilities

• Design and produce production-ready creative for email campaigns, landing pages, website graphics, digital and social media ads, product packaging, and trade show materials including banners, flyers, brochures, and booth signage
• Collaborate directly with the website developer, providing complete design specifications, assets, fonts, and dimensions for implementation
• Review implemented web and landing page designs before launch to ensure accuracy
• Develop fresh creative concepts and proactively recommend new visual directions for the brand
• Create both clean, polished corporate designs for retail and B2B audiences as well as bold, unconventional creative for consumer campaigns and social media
• Maintain strong brand consistency across all materials and channels
• Prepare print-ready artwork according to vendor specifications, including bleed, resolution, and color profiles
• Coordinate and review overflow work from freelancers and vendors when needed
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while proactively communicating any potential delays
• Maintain an organized library of working files, final artwork, and brand assets

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of InDesign and Acrobat
• Proven experience designing for consumer goods companies, including packaging, retail materials, and consumer-facing campaigns
• Demonstrated ability to design complete email campaigns for desktop and mobile
• Experience designing landing pages and websites and successfully collaborating with developers
• Previous experience leading design projects while remaining personally responsible for producing the work
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Reliable computer capable of running Adobe Creative Suite and stable, high-speed internet connection
• Availability to work during U.S. Eastern business hours

Portfolio Requirement:

• A portfolio demonstrating range across design styles, including at least one clean/corporate design, one bold or unconventional design, one email campaign, one landing page or website design, and consumer goods/packaging work
• Ability to provide examples of brands you have designed for

Nice to Have:

• Experience with beauty, hair care, or personal care brands
• Trade show or live event design experience
• Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Figma, or Canva
• Experience with After Effects or Premiere Pro
