Clinical Research Associate II

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential contract research organization seeking a Clinical Research Associate II to join their team remotely in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between project stakeholders, clinical sites, and investigators while ensuring compliance with research protocols and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and data quality across multiple therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document all types of onsite monitoring visits at clinical research sites
• Drive study startup activities and site initiation when applicable
• Perform case report form reviews, source document verification, and manage query resolution processes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site communication and day-to-day management
• Supervise study activities, maintain timelines, and manage schedules for assigned sites
• Coordinate with in-house support services and external vendors
• Support quality control initiatives including compliance monitoring and report reviews
• Participate in feasibility assessments for new studies
• Assist regulatory teams in preparing documentation for study submissions and obtaining regulatory approvals

What We're Looking For

• BSc or MSc in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Proven independent onsite monitoring experience in the UK, ideally managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrable experience conducting all types of monitoring visits for Phase II and/or Phase III clinical trials
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to plan, multitask, and thrive in a dynamic team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Full, clean UK driver's license and ability to travel regularly to multiple sites
• Experience supporting oncology studies is beneficial but not required
