About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare diagnostics organization in their search for a Key Account Executive based in Springfield, Sangamon County. Our client is a leading provider of laboratory services with a national footprint, delivering critical insights to healthcare providers, researchers, and health systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building and maintaining strategic client relationships in the healthcare sector. You will be the primary point of contact for key accounts, driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within assigned territory
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and client satisfaction
• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, administrators, and decision-makers
• Identify new business opportunities and expand service offerings within existing accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to maintain competitive positioning
• Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and performance reports to stakeholders
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in healthcare, laboratory services, or medical diagnostics
• Strong account management skills with a track record of growing key client relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory as needed
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
