K- 2nd Grade Teacher *POOL* : Sierra Vista Campus : 2026/2027 SY

Leman Academy of Excellence is seeking dedicated full-time educators for our K–2nd Grade Teacher pool at our Sierra Vista Campus in Sierra Bonita, Cochise County. This is an ongoing recruitment initiative designed to build a talent pipeline of qualified teachers ready to join our team when full-time positions become available during the 2026/2027 school year or as staffing needs arise.

What This Role Involves

As a K–2nd Grade Teacher at Leman Academy of Excellence, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young learners in one of our early-grade classrooms. You'll foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports each child's academic and social-emotional growth while maintaining high expectations for student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction tailored to the developmental needs of kindergarten through 2nd-grade students
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to support individual learning needs
• Build strong relationships with families through communication, conferences, and partnership in the learning process
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect
• Contribute to a positive school culture and collaborate with colleagues to support student success

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one for elementary grades
• Strong foundational knowledge of literacy, numeracy, and early childhood development
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and supporting diverse learners
• Flexibility, collaborative spirit, and genuine passion for working with young children
