About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Conduct regular fire and safety inspections, documenting findings and correcting any deficiencies promptly.
  • Execute the preventative maintenance schedule for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life‑safety systems, completing associated work orders on time.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff, diagnosing issues and performing repairs or coordinating with specialized vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts inventory in the maintenance management system.
  • Participate in safety and security training sessions and apply learned procedures to daily tasks.
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operation of facility services.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring consistent compliance in every maintenance task.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in facilities maintenance or a related trade is a plus.
  • Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs in a hotel, hospitality, or commercial environment.
  • Solid understanding of fire safety codes, inspection procedures, and basic electrical/HVAC/plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timely completion of tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer proficiency for logging work and accessing training materials.
