Leman Academy of Excellence is seeking a dedicated Exceptional Scholar Services Teacher to join our Oro Valley campus for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time position is part of our ongoing talent pool, allowing us to connect with exceptional educators as openings become available throughout the academic year.

About the Role

As an Exceptional Scholar Services Teacher, you'll provide specialized instruction and support to students with identified exceptional needs, helping them achieve academic and developmental milestones. This pool position enables us to maintain a roster of qualified educators ready to step into teaching roles as vacancies arise during the school year or when unexpected staffing needs emerge.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals and learning profile
• Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and support services to ensure inclusive learning opportunities
• Monitor student progress through data collection, assessments, and meaningful observation
• Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's academic development and social-emotional growth
• Create engaging, accessible lessons that differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with special education regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Valid Arizona teaching credential with special education certification or endorsement
• Demonstrated experience teaching students with exceptionalities or diverse learning needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with families and colleagues
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and special education best practices
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Organizational skills and attention to IEP compliance and documentation
