Join Tri-County Community Action Agency as a full-time Facilities Associate in Oak Lane, Philadelphia County. We're seeking a dedicated professional to maintain and repair our facilities while upholding Head Start Performance Standards and New Jersey Licensing requirements.
What This Role Involves
As our Facilities Associate, you'll take ownership of day-to-day maintenance and facility management across our organization. Working closely with our Senior Program Quality Manager and administrative team, you'll perform repairs and upkeep that keep our spaces safe, functional, and compliant with regulatory standards. Your efforts directly support the quality services we provide to our community.
Core Duties
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on facility systems and structures
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs and installations
- Collaborate with the Senior Program Quality Manager and administrative associate on maintenance planning and priorities
- Ensure facilities comply with Head Start Performance Standards and New Jersey Licensing regulations
- Document maintenance requests and track repairs and maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to facility issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise
- Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized facility spaces for program operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with general maintenance and repair work
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to detail and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive to maintenance needs
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
