Janitorial Maintenance

Join Pilot Company as a Janitorial Maintenance team member at our Salome, AZ travel center location. This is a part-time position where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere that our customers expect.

About the Role

As a Janitorial Maintenance professional with Pilot Company, you'll ensure our travel center facilities remain clean, sanitary, and well-maintained throughout the day and week. Working part-time at our Salome location, you'll be responsible for the appearance and hygiene of our customer-facing and operational areas, contributing directly to the guest experience and meeting our high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobbies, dining areas, and common spaces according to company standards and health codes
• Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing in designated areas
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly and safely
• Dust, wipe, and maintain surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and walls
• Restock janitorial supplies and report shortages to management
• Maintain equipment and supplies in proper working order
• Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
• Communicate any maintenance concerns or facility issues to supervisors

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Experience in janitorial or facility maintenance (preferred but not required)
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
