Join Xplor as an Account Executive and drive revenue growth for our merchant solutions business. This full-time, remote role is based in Pasadena, CA, and offers the opportunity to build meaningful client relationships while selling innovative payment and business management solutions to merchants across North America.

Position Summary

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying merchant leads to closing deals and ensuring client success. This position sits at the heart of our merchant sales organization, where your ability to understand client needs and articulate our value proposition will directly drive revenue and expand our market presence. You'll work independently and collaboratively, targeting merchants who benefit most from our comprehensive suite of payment processing and business management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop relationships with merchant prospects in assigned territories or verticals
  • Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand merchant pain points and business requirements
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and ROI demonstrations tailored to each prospect
  • Negotiate terms and close deals within identified sales targets and timelines
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, forecasting accurately and maintaining detailed account records
  • Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and early success
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals while maintaining deal quality and contract terms

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, fintech, software, or merchant services
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tools; ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Self-directed, disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-up activities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for key client meetings or company events (if required)
