Account Executive

Join Xplor as a remote Account Executive based in the Torrance, CA area. We're seeking a driven sales professional to build and expand merchant relationships, close revenue-generating deals, and grow our customer base from anywhere with a strong internet connection.

What This Role Involves

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the complete sales cycle for merchant and enterprise clients. Working full-time in a remote capacity, you'll prospect new opportunities, conduct discovery conversations, negotiate contracts, and expand existing account relationships. You'll be the primary point of contact driving deal progression while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new merchant accounts and business opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting
• Conduct needs assessment calls to understand customer challenges and position Xplor solutions as the right fit
• Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities throughout the sales cycle
• Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and close deals while protecting margins and client satisfaction
• Onboard new clients and establish relationships that create upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Coordinate with merchant services, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth implementation
• Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking in CRM systems; report on sales metrics and progress
• Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets and performance objectives

What We're Looking For

• Two or more years of successful B2B or enterprise sales experience, especially in merchant services, payments, or SaaS
• Demonstrated ability to exceed quota and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals consistently
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to connect quickly with decision-makers
• Self-directed, competitive mindset with strong time management and accountability
• Experience working independently in a remote environment without direct oversight
• Hands-on proficiency with CRM platforms and modern sales tools
• Adaptability and grit in a fast-paced sales environment with hunger for continuous learning
