IT Service Desk Specialist – Part time mode

Wabtec is seeking an IT Service Desk Specialist to support our operations in Katy Wroclawskie, DS, Poland on a part-time basis. If you have a passion for solving technical problems and helping others navigate technology, this could be the right opportunity for you.

What This Role Involves

As an IT Service Desk Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for technology issues affecting our business. Working part-time, you'll provide technical support to end users, diagnose problems efficiently, and help ensure our systems and infrastructure run smoothly across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve user requests and technical issues through multiple support channels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
• Log and track support tickets in the help desk system, documenting issues and resolutions
• Provide clear guidance to users on system usage and best practices
• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues when needed
• Follow established procedures and security protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with IT support, help desk, or service desk operations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with common operating systems and widely-used software applications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and information security standards
