QIMA seeks a full-time Quality Inspector for Fresh Fruit to join our team in La serena, PA, US. This on-site position involves hands-on inspection and quality assurance of fresh produce.

What This Role Involves

As a Quality Inspector for Fresh Fruit at QIMA, you'll evaluate produce throughout the harvest and post-harvest process, ensuring every batch meets rigorous quality standards. You'll perform detailed visual and tactile inspections, document your findings, and communicate directly with production teams to maintain quality benchmarks. This role combines technical expertise with physical presence on the job, requiring sharp attention to detail and commitment to food safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect fresh fruit for quality defects, ripeness, damage, and compliance with established standards
• Evaluate produce samples and document all inspection results and grading decisions
• Verify compliance with food safety regulations and quality protocols
• Work closely with harvest and post-harvest teams to identify and correct quality issues
• Report findings to supervisors and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Maintain organized records and ensure accurate data entry

What You Bring

• Experience in fresh produce inspection, quality assurance, or agriculture
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality variations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout your shift
• Familiarity with quality standards for fresh fruit and post-harvest handling
