SGS is hiring an Environmental Analyst (ANALISTA AMBIENTAL) for a full-time, on-site position in Callao, Callao, Peru. This role is part of our Inspection and Field Testing division, offering an opportunity to support environmental compliance and quality assurance initiatives across the region.

Position Summary

This Environmental Analyst position at SGS combines hands-on field inspection with environmental testing to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain quality standards. Based in Callao, you will conduct on-site environmental assessments, perform technical testing, maintain comprehensive documentation, and prepare reports that support our clients' compliance obligations and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and environmental assessments at client sites throughout the Callao region
• Perform environmental testing and sampling protocols in compliance with regulatory and industry standards
• Collect, document, and analyze environmental data from test results and field observations
• Prepare detailed technical reports and compliance documentation for clients and regulatory authorities
• Ensure all inspection and testing activities adhere to company quality protocols and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with engineering teams and project management to align environmental assessments with project objectives

Requirements

• Educational background in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
• Demonstrated experience in field inspection, environmental testing, or environmental monitoring programs
• Strong technical and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Availability to work on-site in Callao with flexibility for travel to project sites as needed
• Working knowledge of environmental compliance standards and relevant regulations
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; bilingual capability (English and Spanish) is valued
