Ingénieur Support Technique – Vidéo F/H/X

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their video solutions division. This role can be based in Paris or Orléans and involves supporting clients across the EMEA region.

In this position, you will:

• Manage and adhere to service level agreement commitments
• Respond to technical customer requests and ensure timely resolution
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients across multiple countries
• Perform occasional on-site technical interventions
• Document recurring incidents and create technical articles for knowledge sharing
• Escalate complex issues through appropriate channels when necessary
• Collaborate closely with sales, research and development, and professional services teams

What We're Looking For

Education and Core Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with quick decision-making skills
• Excellent collaboration and internal communication abilities
• Proven ability to build and maintain client trust
• Flexible mindset and adaptability in complex situations
• Professional proficiency in English, Spanish, and French (additional languages are a significant advantage)

Technical Requirements:

• Previous experience in technical support or customer service roles preferred
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and key components
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (switches, routers)
• Understanding of network principles, protocols, and storage solutions
• Familiarity with server virtualization and client/server architecture
• Expertise in video surveillance systems (CCTV, IP cameras, encoders, DVRs)

Bonus Qualifications:

• Knowledge of license plate recognition systems
• Experience with access control systems (readers, controllers, cabling)
• Programming experience in C#, Visual Basic, VBScript, PowerShell, or equivalent
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
