Regional Director of Ministry Partnerships, East (Major Gift Officer) – Care Net

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential nonprofit organization in their search for a Regional Director of Ministry Partnerships to manage major donor relationships across the Eastern United States. This is a remote position with preference for candidates based in Florida or Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of current major donors (contributing $5,000+ annually) and develop a pipeline of prospective individual major donors across the Eastern United States
• Research current and prospective donors using wealth screening tools to determine giving capacity and philanthropic inclination
• Create and execute individual moves management plans for each assigned donor, including cultivation activities, solicitation strategies, and engagement goals
• Present and pursue planned giving opportunities in collaboration with internal experts
• Conduct meetings with current and prospective donors to understand their philanthropic interests and align them with organizational mission
• Prepare proposals and coordinate participation of senior leadership and board members in donor meetings
• Complete timely call reports and maintain accurate donor records in CRM systems
• Collaborate with team members to execute comprehensive annual communications plans for assigned donors
• Work with foundation relations teams to advance funding opportunities within your assigned territory
• Organize and execute ministry briefings where donors can introduce the organization to their networks
• Travel up to 30% of the time for donor meetings, conferences, and organizational events

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in major gifts fundraising with proven success directly soliciting and closing gifts of $10,000 or more (candidates with strong sales backgrounds will also be considered)
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term relationships with individual donors and foundations
• Experience across the full gift cycle: initiating contact, developing cultivation strategies, making solicitations, closing gifts, and stewarding relationships
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication abilities, including public speaking
• Ability to work independently while delivering measurable, cost-effective results
• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications
• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of work experience preferred
• Committed Christian faith with agreement to the organization's statement of faith and values
• Strong commitment to the pro-life position and the mission of the organization
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and Christian denominations
• Proven effectiveness working remotely with ability to travel up to 30%
