You will join a specialized department studying the security of electronic components and the data they contain against physical attacks. The team works on hardware, software, and cryptographic protections, particularly for mobile devices and emerging memory technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on the susceptibility of emerging non-volatile memories (eNVM) to hardware attacks, specifically fault injection attacks
• Design and execute experimental characterization tests to assess how various types of eNVM respond to fault injection techniques
• Analyze experimental results to understand and model the underlying physical mechanisms
• Report on research activities and findings to project stakeholders
• Work collaboratively within a project team environment
• Contribute to advancing knowledge in hardware security for next-generation memory technologies

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in a relevant technical field, or PhD
• Strong scientific background in microelectronics and/or hardware security
• Ability to conduct independent research work
• Project management capabilities

Preferred qualifications:

• PhD in microelectronics and/or hardware security
• Practical experience with fault injection techniques
• Experience in hardware security research
• English proficiency at C1 level
• Junior candidates are welcome to apply
