About This Position

This role is a full-time position based in Denver, Colorado. The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward preventing homelessness and creating lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and various services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

The Housing Specialist supports the Housing Assistance Department (HAD) by collaboratively addressing the housing stability needs of program participants and ensuring their successful transition into stable housing environments. This position will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assess and address the housing stability needs of program participants in collaboration with the Housing Assistance Department (HAD).
  • Provide support services to help individuals and families achieve stable housing.
  • Work closely with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

  • Experience in housing assistance or related fields, such as social work, case management, or community development.
