Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members to ensure high-quality service delivery for leave and care support functions.
• Support the development of policies, procedures, and best practices related to employee benefits and leave management.
• Collaborate with various departments to address employee needs and enhance overall benefit programs.
• Provide exceptional communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is conveyed to employees regarding their benefits and leave entitlements.

Skills & Qualifications

• A proven track record of leading and mentoring teams with a dynamic and inclusive approach.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in employee benefit programs or related fields is preferred.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

About the Company

The State of Washington offers a variety of benefits and support services for its employees. This position will be eligible for teleworking full-time but may have to come into the Olympia office infrequently due to business needs.
