What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain records retention schedules that align with state and federal compliance requirements
• Process and coordinate public disclosure requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses under public records law
• Manage classification, organization, and storage of records across physical and electronic systems
• Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify risks and recommend policy improvements
• Train and support department staff on records management procedures and legal obligations
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting public records and disclosure requirements
• Partner with legal, IT, and operations teams to implement secure records handling practices
• Document and track the complete lifecycle of records from creation through disposition
