What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and manage a department-wide continuous improvement program grounded in Lean Six Sigma principles
- Lead process improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring measurable, sustainable results
- Create and deliver training curricula that build CI competency at all levels of the organization
- Partner with division leaders to identify operational inefficiencies and co-develop solutions aligned with agency goals
- Facilitate kaizen events, value-stream mapping sessions, and other structured improvement activities
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators that reflect process health and improvement progress
- Champion a culture of organizational learning and continuous development throughout WDVA
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated professional experience in continuous improvement, process redesign, or operational excellence
- Hands-on background developing and implementing Lean Six Sigma programs, including training delivery
- Strong organizational development skills with the ability to guide change at scale within a complex agency
- Experience applying structured improvement frameworks to real-world government or mission-driven environments
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly valued
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment to serving veterans and the public through better, more effective government operations
