Waynefarms is seeking a full-time Employee Benefit Specialist to join our Georgia - Moultrie Plant team. In this role, you'll manage our employee benefits programs and serve as a trusted resource for our workforce on all benefits-related matters.

About the Role

As an Employee Benefit Specialist at Waynefarms, you'll be the central point of contact for our team members regarding their benefits and plan options. This is a full-time position based at our Georgia - Moultrie Plant location, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our workforce understands and maximizes their benefits package.

Core Duties

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
  • Guide employees through the benefits enrollment process and answer questions about plan options and coverage details
  • Process benefits-related requests, changes, and documentation accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain organized records of employee benefit elections, eligibility, and plan participation
  • Communicate benefits information clearly to employees through meetings, materials, and one-on-one consultations
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and benefits vendors to resolve issues and gather required information
  • Ensure all benefits administration complies with relevant laws and regulations
  • Support HR leadership in managing benefits programs and responding to regulatory requirements

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience administering employee benefits programs or related HR functions
  • Knowledge of benefits compliance, eligibility requirements, and common plan types
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explain complex benefits information in clear, accessible language
  • Proficiency with HR systems and benefits administration software
  • Problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
