Helpdesk System Administrator

We're hiring a Helpdesk System Administrator at Jobgether for this full-time remote position supporting our UK-based operations. You'll be central to keeping our distributed teams connected, productive, and secure across a sophisticated digital infrastructure.

Position Summary

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical helpdesk support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and authentication systems
• Manage IT assets, procurement workflows, and device configurations
• Monitor security practices, apply updates, and maintain system compliance standards
• Document procedures, create knowledge bases, and improve IT processes
• Coordinate with cross-regional teams to resolve issues and deploy solutions
• Support the integration and optimisation of our growing suite of business applications

What You Bring

• Practical experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technical roles
• Working knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, network fundamentals, and cloud tools
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and systematic troubleshooting approach
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests whilst maintaining service quality
• Clear communication skills and patience when explaining technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
• Proactive approach to identifying process improvements and taking ownership of solutions
