About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology company in their search for a Partnerships Manager to join their AI-powered platform team in Berlin. Our client is building intelligent energy management systems that connect hardware manufacturers to their virtual power plant infrastructure.

In this role, you will own the complete partnership lifecycle with hardware manufacturers — from initial outreach and negotiation through technical integration and long-term relationship management. You'll be the bridge between commercial strategy and technical delivery, ensuring partnerships create genuine value for both sides.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pitch the company's AI platform vision to hardware manufacturers in the solar, battery, heat pump, and EV charging sectors
• Lead partnership conversations from first contact through signed agreements, managing both commercial and legal negotiations
• Coordinate technical integrations between external partners and internal development teams, tracking milestones and removing blockers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for partners post-launch, managing day-to-day relationships and escalations
• Maintain oversight of the full partnership portfolio, tracking contractual status, technical maturity, and roadmap alignment
• Report on partnership health to leadership and identify strategic gaps and opportunities in the portfolio

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or B2B sales, particularly at the intersection of hardware and software
• Demonstrated ability to pitch technical and strategic visions to senior stakeholders at manufacturing companies
• Strong negotiation skills for commercial and legal agreements
• Experience coordinating complex projects across internal engineering teams and external partners
• Ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously while maintaining long-term relationship quality
• Structured, agile mindset with strong contract and project management capabilities
• Excellent written and spoken English and German
• Bonus: Network in solar, battery storage, EV charging, or HVAC hardware markets; familiarity with integration protocols like Modbus, EEBUS, or OCPP; experience with API or data-sharing agreements
