Head of Learning and Development at Retail Insights

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential events and media organization seeking a Head of Learning and Development to join their London team. In this role, you will:

• Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs for team members across all experience levels
• Develop strategic training plans by identifying organizational needs and creating targeted programs to address skill gaps
• Build development initiatives that enable teams to consistently exceed performance expectations across business functions
• Create progressive learning opportunities that align individual growth with ambitious company objectives
• Identify and drive collaboration opportunities across different business areas
• Evolve your responsibilities as the business grows and priorities shift

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks an experienced business manager with strong people development expertise. You should bring:

• Proven experience in learning and development or talent management roles
• A relentless drive to excel and continuously improve
• Exceptional work ethic with a high sense of urgency
• Strong ownership mentality with proactive follow-through on commitments
• Genuine curiosity about people and talent for building relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities with skills in prioritization and structure
• UK work authorization (required)

This is an in-person role based in central London (near Victoria Station), Monday through Friday. Remote work is not available. Industry-specific experience is not required, but ambition and forward-thinking leadership are essential.
