Head of Finance & Data (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Head of Finance & Data to serve as the strategic and technical foundation for continued growth. In this dual role, you will combine sharp financial expertise with a deep understanding of data architecture and reporting infrastructure.

Your responsibilities include:

• Building robust controlling structures and reporting systems with clear, forward-looking logic
• Taking full responsibility for financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial management
• Driving the development of automated data pipelines using tools such as BigQuery, integrated with e-commerce platforms and marketing systems
• Ensuring key metrics are reliable, current, and centrally accessible across the organization
• Developing dashboards and reporting tools to create a consistent view that integrates finance metrics with operational data
• Establishing efficient, scalable processes in both finance and data domains
• Working closely with the CEO as a trusted advisor on strategic finance and data matters

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Several years of solid experience in finance with a strong background in controlling
• Multiple years of experience building or operating data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and BI tools
• Understanding of modern, scalable data architecture principles
• Ideally, previous experience in dynamic e-commerce or consumer environments
• Structured, reliable, and pragmatic hands-on mentality
• Self-motivation, solution-oriented approach, and eagerness to learn
• Native-level German language proficiency required
