Head of Finance & Data (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Head of Finance & Data to build the strategic and technical foundation for continued growth. In this dual role, you will combine sharp financial expertise with data architecture and reporting infrastructure capabilities.

• Build resilient controlling structures and reporting frameworks with clear, future-oriented steering logic
• Take full responsibility for financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial management
• Drive the development of automated data pipelines (including BigQuery, connected to e-commerce platforms and marketing tools) ensuring metrics are reliable, current, and centrally accessible
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools (such as Looker Studio) to integrate finance metrics and operational data into a consistent view
• Establish efficient, scalable processes in finance and data that grow with the organization
• Work closely with executive leadership as a trusted sparring partner on all strategic finance and data matters

What We're Looking For

• Several years of solid experience in finance with a strong controlling background
• Multiple years of experience building or operating data infrastructure (data warehouses, ETL pipelines, BI tools) with understanding of modern, scalable data architecture
• Ideally, prior experience in dynamic e-commerce or consumer environments
• Structured, reliable, and pragmatic hands-on mentality
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented approach with willingness to learn
• Fluent German communication skills at native level
