Customer Care & Claims Agent Netherlands (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential insurance technology client in Berlin seeking a Customer Care & Claims Agent to serve their Netherlands market. This is a hybrid role where you'll be the primary contact for Dutch-speaking customers and partners, handling inquiries, managing claims, and ensuring smooth service delivery through proactive case management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for customers and partners in the Netherlands via phone and email
• Log all interactions accurately and resolve issues on first contact whenever possible
• Independently manage new claims cases from intake through resolution, maintaining proactive oversight
• Meet service level agreements through disciplined, self-directed work practices
• Communicate decisions clearly to customers and partners, ensuring transparency in all outcomes
• Maintain and actively use CRM systems and internal contract management tools
• Collaborate with operations teams to continuously improve processes for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Native-level Dutch fluency required; fluent English essential; German is a plus
• Proven experience in customer service, customer care, or service center environments
• Insurance industry background strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and chat channels
• Customer-focused approach with strong decision-making ability and assertiveness
• Friendly, personable demeanor with genuine enjoyment of customer interaction
• Bonus qualifications: B2B experience, technical aptitude, familiarity with AI productivity tools
