Head of Finance at Retail Insights

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Head of Finance to take ownership of financial operations in London. In this role, you will:

• Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning
• Provide weekly updates on cash flow
• Conduct monthly P&L and cash updates for comprehensive financial insights
• Evaluate and implement cost optimization programs
• Review intercompany and external loans to ensure optimal financial health
• Lead working capital management responsibilities
• Manage human resources financial planning responsibilities
• Offer support to sales and operations teams
• Work closely with senior leadership on budgets and investor reporting
• Participate in board meetings and present financial performance

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a finance professional with:

• Accounting background with ideally more than two years of experience from a Big Four firm
• Previous experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or Finance Director from a small or medium-sized business
• UK work authorization
• Strong ownership mentality and proactive approach to problem-solving
• High sense of urgency and exceptional work ethic
• Media and conferences industry background preferred but not mandatory
