Groundman B

Ceres seeks a Groundman Level B to join our operations in Puerto Rico—including work across Vieques and Culebra—in this full-time infrastructure support role, reporting to your Crew Leader or Supervisor.

The Opportunity

Ceres is recruiting an experienced or motivated Groundman B to support essential infrastructure operations across Puerto Rico. Founded in 1998, Ceres has grown to become one of the territory's largest employers. This position offers hands-on work in a stable, growing organization where you'll contribute to critical projects while developing your technical groundwork expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, maintenance, and repair operations for utility infrastructure and equipment
• Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively at job sites
• Assist with digging, trenching, pole setting, and site preparation activities
• Place, align, and secure poles, hardware, and structural components under crew direction
• Maintain organized work areas and remove debris to keep sites safe and efficient
• Document work progress and report status to Crew Leader or Supervisor
• Comply with all safety regulations and jobsite protocols

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in Puerto Rico's climate conditions
• Physical strength and stamina for full-time groundwork
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a crew
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
• Prior experience with hand tools or groundwork roles (preferred)
