Graduate Operations Supervisor (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics client in Nürnberg, Bavaria, seeking a Graduate Operations Supervisor to take on immediate leadership responsibility in their fulfillment operations.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop teams: Coach and inspire a team of 3 team leaders and over 30 warehouse staff, serving as both mentor and role model through your genuine interest in people development.
• Manage shift operations: Maintain oversight of the fulfillment center, prioritize daily tasks, and ensure all orders are processed and dispatched on time.
• Balance floor and office work: Spend 3-4 days per week actively managing operations on the warehouse floor, with 1-2 days per week on strategic planning in the office.
• Drive process improvement: Develop and implement your own logistics projects to continuously optimize workflows and operational efficiency.
• Take ownership: Proactively identify and address issues beyond your immediate area, demonstrating initiative and accountability across operations.

What We're Looking For

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Passion for logistics with ideally some warehouse experience through internships or working student positions
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and Saturdays
• Extremely high level of self-motivation and initiative—you identify opportunities independently and take action without being asked
• Genuine, intrinsic interest in people development; you are empathetic, approachable, and energized by motivating and developing your team
