Fast Track to Leadership Trainee

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Fast Track to Leadership Trainee to join their supply chain and operations team in Mülheim an der Ruhr, North Rhine-Westphalia. This intensive two-year graduate program is designed to accelerate your career from entry-level to operations management.

Year 1: Operations Supervisor

• Complete structured onboarding and build a strong professional network across the fulfillment center
• Lead shift operations 3-4 days per week, taking responsibility for planning, coordinating, and managing teams
• Make real-time operational decisions that directly impact team performance and productivity
• Participate in leadership training focused on coaching, feedback delivery, and team motivation
• Dedicate 1-2 days per week to independent improvement projects that optimize processes, increase productivity, and resolve operational bottlenecks

Year 2: Operations Manager

• Gain national or international exposure by working at other locations or exploring different supply chain departments
• Lead teams in new environments and take on expanded responsibility across multiple sites
• Work on shift operations 1-2 days per week while dedicating 3-4 days to cross-site strategic initiatives
• Drive projects such as order process optimization or support for new automated fulfillment centers
• Apply operational expertise and analytical skills to elevate supply chain performance organization-wide

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (recently completed or graduating within 6 months)
• Practical experience in supply chain environments through internships or working student positions
• Fluent German and strong English language skills
• Enthusiasm for taking on team leadership responsibility early in your career and developing people
• Hands-on mentality with proven ability to transform ideas into successful projects
• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to identify problems proactively
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for a role that combines office work with operational warehouse environments, including shift work
• Leadership mindset with ability to motivate teams and lead by example
